Team Building in Wallonia with Horses

An original experience for executive committees and engaged teams

Just 1h30 from Brussels, in the rolling hills of the Famenne region near Durbuy, La Ferme de la Colline welcomes executive committees, leadership teams and organisations looking for a team building experience of a different kind. Not a day of entertainment, nor a classic indoor seminar. An original experience, immersed in nature, where horses become partners in collective work on trust, communication and cohesion.

Who is it for?

Executive committees and leadership teams seeking to strengthen their collective coherence. Teams going through transformation, mergers or strategic change. Start-ups, SMEs and departments evolving rapidly. Project leaders looking to grow their impact and cohesion. Organisations that place emotional intelligence, trust and cooperation at the heart of their culture.

Our approach

Effective teamwork is a matter of connection. Our conviction: a group's performance rests on trust, listening and shared goals far more than on tools or processes. Immersion in nature, away from offices and screens, is a powerful lever in itself. It reduces stress, restores attention and frees creativity.

Horses add a unique dimension. Social and sensitive animals, they live in organised herds and offer an inspiring example of authentic community. In interaction with them, your team's dynamics become visible: who leads, who follows, who creates safety, who creates tension, how information flows. This reading, supported by a structured debrief, allows your team to see its patterns from a new angle — without direct confrontation between individuals, without judgment, without awkwardness.

What we work on

Trust, grounded in the truth of what is shared, rather than the conviviality of an evening out. Collective emotional intelligence: recognising, welcoming and using emotions rather than denying them. Non-verbal communication, which represents the majority of what we transmit without realising it. Leadership postures and their balance within the group. Self-regulation under pressure, essential in moments of tension or uncertainty. Alignment between individual needs, shared values and common goals.

Benefits

  • A lasting strengthening of bonds within the team.

  • An increased tolerance for vulnerability, one's own and others'.

  • A reduction in predatory and competitive behaviours.

  • Greater engagement and sense of belonging.

  • More open communication and improved collaboration.

  • Stronger mutual support, creating a positive and motivating climate.

  • A close-knit team in which each person feels valued and heard,a foundation for productivity, creativity and talent retention.

Managerial Seminars

The Living Leadership Laboratory

In an increasingly complex professional world, marked by remote work and dispersed teams, leadership can no longer be reduced to technical expertise. It now relies on presence, coherence, and the ability to connect people around a shared vision, even at a distance.

For whom?
For leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, and project initiators in transition or development who wish to strengthen their leadership and relational posture. For any organization seeking to foster conscious and collaborative leadership.

Our approach
Our in-person seminars, supported by the presence of horses, invite participants to explore and experience the cooperative leadership model inspired by the Eponaquest® approach. This model emphasizes emotional intelligence, body awareness, intuition, nonverbal communication, and presence as essential components of embodied and impactful leadership.

Experiential learning with horses provides immediate feedback: participants test their relational abilities in real time, adjust their posture, and integrate new insights in a lasting way. This embodied experience strengthens confidence, clarity, and the ability to activate these skills in both professional and personal contexts.

The seminars combine:

  • theoretical and practical contributions during in-room sessions,

  • embodied and emotional experiential practices,

  • role-playing activities,

  • individual and group exercises with the horse,

  • integrative debriefings that support the transfer of insights into everyday professional life.

Our approach places the learning of emotional and behavioral skills at the heart of the relationship with the horse. It is a genuine space for personal and professional development, where attention, listening, self-assertion, and movement find their full expression.
